NORTH BERGEN - A brick facade on the upper portion of building in North Bergen peeled away yesterday afternoon, leaving what appeared to be a crawl space under the roof exposed to the elements.

New Westminster city council has approved a facade retention for the historic Mc & Mc Building on Columbia Street. At a Sept. 15 public hearing, city council considered a proposal to restore the front facade of the building rather than restoration of the entire structure.

Courthouse Facade Work Could Begin In September
